Stuck in the Box is a new series of podcast-style conversations with great guitar music teachers.
While the first few conversations centered on the challenges of learning to improvise as a guitarist, this conversation is a little bit different. It turns out that there are literally dozens of different banjo tunings used in traditional music. Since many guitar players struggle to adapt to new tunings, I invited Banjonomicon creator Tom Collins to help me see what guitarists can learn from the banjo while adapting to a new tuning. Tom teaches on YouTube and Patreon, and I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.
