Withdraw from a purchase

This policy explains how refunds work at Fret Science and your right of withdrawal as a consumer. It is part of our Terms of Service.

One-time course purchases

Our courses are digital content — streaming video and downloadable PDFs — that you can access immediately after you buy.

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA (or a country with equivalent rules), you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal ("cooling-off period") on purchases made online. For digital content supplied immediately, though, that right ends once access begins — provided you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal. We ask for that consent at checkout so you can start straight away.

Where the right of withdrawal still applies, you can exercise it within 14 days using our withdrawal form. You'll confirm your request on a second step and receive an email confirming it. We'll then refund your original payment, to the same payment method you used, without undue delay and within 14 days, and remove access to the withdrawn course.

Outside the right of withdrawal, course purchases are generally non-refundable — but if something isn't right (for example, you can't access what you bought, or it isn't as described), please contact us and we'll put it right.

Patreon memberships

Patreon memberships are managed and billed by Patreon under its own terms. You can cancel at any time in your Patreon account to stop future charges; cancelling ends future renewals but does not automatically refund a charge already made. Manage your membership at patreon.com.

How to withdraw or request a refund

The quickest way is our withdrawal form — you'll need your name and the order reference from your purchase confirmation email. You can also contact us and we'll help.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country, including the EU/EEA right of withdrawal and equivalent rights elsewhere.
