Stuck in the Box 01: Chris Sherland on Learning Improvisation

This is the first in a new series of podcast-style conversations with great guitar teachers that I'm calling Stuck in the Box. The first few conversations center on the challenges of learning to improvise as a guitarist.

Chris Sherland has been teaching guitar for over forty years, and his students include the legendary YouTuber Marty Schwartz. Chris's YouTube channel, The Curious Guitarist, is well worth checking out, as is his Patreon. Chris's explanations are patient, clear, and well thought out. I was a fan of his channel before I even started Fret Science.
