This is where the system stretches to cover almost everything else — without breaking. You'll see the diatonic harmony living inside the major scale, then find the triads and 7th chords already embedded in the shapes you know, so chords and scales become two views of one thing. From there you'll add the harmonic and melodic minor scales — what exactly they change, and why — and meet their most useful child, Phrygian dominant, in real-world settings. Then the rest of the family: the other modes of harmonic and melodic minor, the symmetric and "oddball" scales (whole-tone, altered, diminished), and finally the gear shifts that let you move fluidly between related scale families mid-solo.
